Hackney Chinese Community Services (HCCS) provide advice, support and community activities to the East and Southeast (ESEA) community in the UK. Their service users are multi-generational and diverse in ethnicity. There is mahjong, Chinese chess, table tennis, and karaoke for the elders and book club, film night and arts workshops for the youth. One of their aims is to bridge gaps between generations and communities within the ESEA community, their activities are accessible for all no matter race, religion, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
